I currently have two part-time openings for Thursday and Friday.I also have one full-time Summer 2010 opening available. Please contact me for more information.
I am Elizabeth. I established Elizabeth's Home Daycare in August 2007.
I have two of my own children born March 2006 and January 2008. Currently I care for up to five children in addition to my own two.
I have over 10 years experience as a swim instructor and lifeguard. I have always been around children in leadership and mentor roles and I am very comfortable around little ones. For those 10 years I had regular training for CPR, first aid and choking for infant, child and adult. I feel very confident in my abilities and I have had instances where I have put this training to use successfully.
I participate in the Home Childcare Providers Network that meets regularly at the Our Place Early Years Centre in Kitchener where I network with other child care providers and receive regular professional development programming, share ideas on how to enhance our individual services, and keep ourselves informed about pertinent issues or changes that directly affect how we run our business and care for our children.
We enjoy a variety of activities during our day and have a flexible schedule. I have also created a blog to keep parents up-to-date on our activities, menus and much more!
I view myself as a part of the team who is contributing to raising your child(ren). By maintaining open communication we can handle how to deal with issues the child may be having, developmentally or emotionally, etc. that are specific to your child's needs while maintaining harmony in my home.
I request you inform me if the child had a good night's rest, are teething or coming down with a cold just as much as I will keep you well informed of the number and type of diaper changes, food they ate or refused and any other interesting stories to share about their day. I've included a sample of the type of information I will report on under Daily Report Card.
